About Beady Girl "I'll give my jewels for a set of beads..." (William Shakespeare, King Richard, Richard II, act 3, scene 3)Beady Girl was founded in the Spring of 2004 in San Francisco, California, by Cynthia Poh. Cynthia’s love of jewellery making started in 2003 and she soon left the corporate rat race to take up jewellery making full time. Since then, she has been designing, making and selling jewellery. She likes to experiment with different types of gemstones and beads sourced from various international regions to create her pieces. She finds her design inspiration from her surroundings and extensive travels. Her finished jewellery are stylish, elegant, artistic and wearable for all occasions. Also in 2004, BeadyGirl.com was launched to showcase Cynthia’s collections of jewellery and craft works to jewellery/craft lovers. Besides beadygirl.com, Beady Girl’s jewellery and accessories can also be purchased at online merchant; beadygirl.etsy.com, and boutiques within US which include; Alki Arts & Gifts in Seattle Washington and The Heart Space – Heart in Hand Boutique in Tempe Arizona. In mid 2007, Cynthia returned to Singapore. She wants to share her beading training and experience with beading enthusiasts in Singapore. She is currently conducting jewellery making classes (specialises in seed beads weaving) at Beads Cage, Centrepoint and Creative Escape, River Valley Road. Her pieces can also be custom ordered.
