African Helix Rope Bracelet
The African Helix stitch technique was brought into US in the late 80’s from Africa. It is unique from other stitches as they are looped together rather than stitched. It forms a dense rope that can be worn on its own or embellished with beads to make it more interesting. In the first session, we will learn to stitch a basic African Helix Rope and in the second session, we will learn how to embellish the rope and make a unique clasp to complete it.
